2012'nin 2.çeyreğinde nielsen'in yaptığı açıklamaya göre ABD pazarında smartphone ve android işletim sistemlerine ilgi giderek artıyor. Yapılan araştırmalara göre; 3 Amerikalıdan 2'si android cihazlarını kullanıyor ve talep ediyor. Son 3 ay içerisinde 51.8% olan pazar payı Haziran ayı itibari ile 2.8% arttığı gözleniyor buda Amerikalıların android cihazlara yöneldiğini ispatlıyor.
